pray for me

Or perhaps...pray instead to the family members I've coerced into listening.

I'm heading out to the studio shortly to broadcast my first show on Radio Maria. (88.7 fm here) or listen live online from 11:30am to 12:30. Our pastor, Fr. Rick Nieberding is kind enough to join me for the first half as I get a feel for how things work. He has his own show on Monday mornings from 10-10:30 called "Living the Lectionary."

Feel free to call in with questions, comments, thoughts...anything to give me a moment to catch my breath (ie. shut me up!) I'll be giving the call-in number on the show.
Have a blessed day all!

Hello Jamie, I had the good intention of listening to your progarm today. And at 12:15 I suddeningly remembered your program had been in progress with only 15 minutes left! But I did listen and enjoy those 15 minutes. You sounded great and your message touched me as a fellow Catholic Mom. Though my children are teenagers and college students. Your program will be a blessing and inspiration for all of us. Thank you Ginny

Just caught the last half of your radio show...FABULOUS JOB! I can't imagine how nervous you were, but it didn't show in your voice at all! I am inspired to look for something to be greatful for in even the everyday, ordinary (sometimes frustrating and annoying) things which occur every day around here. Normally I just get aggravated in seeing the messes my 4 Blessings leave around the house. I needed a new perspective on it...being thankful for the mess because that means I have been blessed with healthy, energetic kids! Looking forward to your next show...keep us posted on when that will be!

Gr8 show Jamie, I loved your show I also enjoy reading your blogs. It helps me to look back on my day with my two and to just enjoy those little moments. Thanks for your inspiration to be te best mom that I can be. I'm a mother of two very energetic little boy's, who I thank god for everyday.

Jamie --- I loved listening to the program today. As I was listening, I was cleaning up the grape juice (that I canned this summer) which Jim spilled across the kitchen floor, cabinets, etc. It's amazing to me how a small half-filled cup of juice can make such a big sticky mess. But, Jim's precious "I'm sorry mom" made it all not so bad. --- Peace, Bonnie

Will there be a link to your show in the archives?

Uhhhhh....huge sigh of relief that it's done. Thanks everyone for all the nice comments!
As for the archives...I don't know. I was sure hoping so...to be able to check it out myself...like, how many times did I say "Umm." and whatnot. Although, maybe it's best I don't listen and dwell on it. It's done. Whew.

You did a REALLY good job. Your content was great and your voice also sounded great! Your comments about becoming holy through your daily life reminds me of when Mother Teresa said you don't need to come to Calcutta, there are people in your home and in your own lives that you can show God's love to. I'll be looking forward to the next one :)

Oh darn....I forgot that your program was on today and I even wrote it on my calendar. I helped my parents hang up X-mas decorations outside today and completely forgot. I wished that I would have remembered b/c I really wanted to listen in. Will you let us know when you will be on again?

I'm so disappointed that I missed your show Jamie--I've spoken with two people who listened and had only wonderful things to say! Your message was great and your natural radio voice and clarity were super and I'm so sorry that I missed it! If you learn about being able to listen in the archives somehow, I would love to hear about how to do that so I can listen and continue to learn from you. Thanks for providing this ministry--one more beautiful way you are touching so many lives!

How wonderful Jamie! I wish I could have heard you. Is this going to be a regular thing?
A blessed Thanksgiving to you and your beautiful family.

Jamie,
My Mom (Ann Stammen) told me that you were on that day. I called one of my girlfriends from work and I promptly turned it on in my van on the way to work. When I arrived, two of my friends were sitting in the car, listening to your program. It was awesome! God is really using you, as he uses all of us, but isn't it amazing how He works out his plan??? It's great that you said, "Yes". It's a blessing for Moms.
