Boys! Check this out!

A friend of mine has worked for several years now to plan and organize a "princess party" (fundraiser event) for little girls to dress and play the part. Our girls have LOVED being a part of it in years past, but the boys...well, they just stay at home as far away from the primping and pageantry as possible. This year she's managed to pull together a fundraising event just for the boys. I'd be remiss in not sharing the details, cause my little men are PUMPED for this. (Thanks Stacy! We can't wait.)

What: Bob the Builder Party
(Meet Bob, make your own tool belt, and also meet Minster's Firemen and EMT volunteers who will have their firetruck and squad on site for tours.)
When: Sunday, April 18th 2-4pm.
Where: St. Augustine/St. Joseph Parish Center
Cost: Donation--all money raised will be used to offset the cost of of the ND Vision retreat at Notre Dame for local high school students.

Come dressed in your "work" clothes. There will be door prizes, coloring, tool belts to decorate, fireman hats, and much more!!
Remember your cameras!

Girls, don't feel left out, more information to follow regarding this year's Princess Party planned for May 15th!

Jamie~Thanks for this! Is this open to anyone, even from other towns? I have a friend whose son is Ga-ga over Bob the Builder and he would love this!

I also would love to bring the princess party to our town. I'd love to find out more about that!

Thanks!

My sister and I took our girls to the princess party last year and they had a hoot! I don't have any boys young enough but my sister is taking her son (she has 4 yr old twins, one of each) to this and we'll be at the princess party again in May. Stacie has such good ideas for these parties and the kids really look forward to them. My daughter has talked about the princess party quite often.....Kudos to Stacie!!

Thanks Jamie for posting this. yes it is open to anyone and everyone... It is geared more toward younger kids, but it should be a lot of fun. I can't take much credit. Jane Boeke and Renee Arnold have done most of the work. Please come and enjoy and spread the word. We want it to be a big hit.

Stacie and Beth please get a hold of me... The Princess party is a lot of fun and not hard to put on.

So is the princess party sponsored or suggested by any organization or is it just a brainstormed fundraiser to be used for anything? I would definitely be interested in trying to put something like this together if can be used for any organization.
