motivated by...

...this one liner I've been reading on the calendar at work. It hangs above the copy machine, where I have nothing else to look at/read while waiting for the darn copier to "warm up."

(and I should have written it down...or copied it...cause now I can't think of the exact words)

"Attempt today to accomplish one thing more than you thought possible."

It seems fitting this Holy Week as we try to do better, be kinder, love more, and "offer up" for the greater good.
Today it helped me catch up on laundry, even if only momentarily. As soon as the kids stripped for baths and pajamas tonight, the laundry chute was filled to the brim once more. (sigh) Tomorrow's another day.

God Bless.

Your laundry brings me back to about 10-15 years ago. I am one of 12 children and I remember the piles and piles of laundry that us girls were required to help Mom with during the summer months. Mondays were the worst because my parents were adamant about Sunday being a day of rest. Those summer months really got me to appreciate everything my parents (especially my mom) did for us. You are such an inspiration by the way you lovingly accept the ministry God gives you to fulfill!
