first family dinner

On Thursday we closed and took posession of our new home. Woooohoooooo!! To say we are excited is an understatement. So excited in fact, that immediately after our meeting at the bank, we gathered up the kiddos and celebrated with our first of many firsts...first family dinner in the new house. McDonalds chicken nuggets never tasted so sweeeet.

Praising God for the blessings He's brought us. He is so good!

Crazy-busy weekend here....means moving will have to wait till next week...will keep you posted as I'm able.

I'll be out of town this next weekend so you are more than welcome to borrow our 15pass van---Kurt likes driving his little anyway.
CONGRATULATIONS, again!!!

thanks everyone!
@Kira- yes, the very first moment we walked in we felt "home." The love of the family that lived there before was tangible. Look forward to spending the rest of my days there, and watching my kids bring there families back "home" someday. So blessed!

So glad to find your blogspot today and to add you to my 'favorites'! I have already added you to my 'favorite people' list in my heart! It was wonderful to spend the weekend with you and I was so touched by the warm kindness that you showed me as I arrived and throughout the hours that followed. Wasn't it just wonderful to be a part of it all? I feel regenerated! Your words have resonated in my head and my heart; I'm looking for my own ways to embrace the memories as they fly by and cast out the difficulties. So glad you are here to share the joys and the sorrows and to inspire us all to be better daughters of God. The Evil One simply HATES family love and the prayers offered by parents and their little ones. Perhaps he will stay FAR, FAR away. :) God bless you in your new home. Let's stay in touch!
